Dear Parents & Staff,

As you may be aware, last night an incident occurred off school grounds and outside the school day involving one of our students. While this is circulating on social media in our community, I did want to reach out to you today to acknowledge that the school is aware of the situation. 

I want to reiterate our commitment to keeping our students and staff safe. We are in communication with our law enforcement, with whom we have a very good working relationship. Out of an abundance of caution, we have an increased police presence at school while the police investigation is underway. 

It is important to note that we have not received any information to indicate that there is any threat or danger at school. The increased police presence is simply a proactive safety measure.
