The West Iron County Athletic Booster Club encourages school and community support of the West Iron County athletic department by providing financial support not typically provided through the athletic department's annual budget. The Booster Club is a great way to get involved and to have an impact on our athletes that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
The WIC Booster Club raises money through winter concession stand sales, 50-50 raffles and donations from the community. The WIC Booster Club donates money every year to the West Iron County athletic apartment. All sports benefit from the Booster Club's donations to the WIC high school, which is only possible because of the tremendous support from our Wykon families who serve as volunteers at various events.
Over the past few years, the Booster Club has made significant contributions to our athletic programs. Such as: new chairs for gymnasium, HUDL for coaches and athletes, (this program provides video review and performance analysis tools) track resurfacing and painting, rebound machine, volleyball standards, basketball scoreboard, tennis court refinishing, grandstands painting, new playground equipment, new grandstands footpaths, annual senior scholarships and sports plaques. Just to name a few.
Our monthly meetings are held in the high school commons at 6:00pm, second Wednesday. If you have questions, would like to sign up to volunteer, become a member or need additional information, please contact a board member.
