Art Students Association is a regional organization that was founded by six art educators in 1994. Our mission is to promote, encourage, and validate the study of art and the creative process for all our students.  The Districts involved in the ASA program are: Kingsford, Iron Mountain, Norway, Florence, Pembine, Niagara, Goodman-Armstrong, West Iron, and Forest Park. 

ASA hosts five workshops each school year for the "Artists of the Month" to attend. At these events we learn a skill from a visiting artist, share a meal and showcase the students work. 

Every April, ASA hosts an art show at Kingsford High School. Judges for the show are representatives from local art and design colleges. Some students receive a judges mention or admission scholarships based on the work they enter in the show.
