Dear Wykon Parents & Staff, 

Last Thursday morning I sent out a post to you regarding a safety concern in our community.  Over this past weekend, TV6 News misreported the event.  After discussing the matter with TV6 News, they have updated and corrected their report, including adding the Editor’s note below.  

Editor’s note: The story originally said the man was arrested for making online threats against “schools.” However, police and the prosecutor only ever said threats were made online against “Iron County residents and children,” not schools. We revised this story on Monday, Jan. 27 at 9:15 a.m. to reflect the accurate information" and apologize for any concern it may have caused.
