School Nurse: Sadie Holm
WICS is extremely proud to have Nurse Sadie serving our students and staff as our full time School Nurse. Mrs. Holm has been a nurse for 13 years. Her primary role at the school is to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and health of all students and staff.
She was born and raised here in Iron County and is a WIC graduate. She attended Finlandia University and obtained her bachelors of science in nursing. She worked at Marquette General Hospital on their Orthopedic, Neurology and Pediatric floor where she gained numerous experiences treating the pediatric population. In 2011, she took a position at Aspirus here in Iron River. Nurse Sadie still works as a pool nurse at Aspirus, working in multiple departments (ED, ICU, Outpatient, and Med/Surg Floor).
Nurse Sadie loves being outdoors and camping with her friends and family. She enjoys fishing, kayaking, and of course SMORES by the fire! When she’s not on the clock, she enjoys snuggling up with a good book and drinking a warm cup of coffee.
WICS students and staff are very blessed to have Nurse Sadie serve as our school nurse over the past 4 years. She looks forward to another year of supporting student health and academic success. She serves as the link between school, students, families, health care, and other community providers. Nurse Sadie is excited to be here at West Iron County Schools as our School Nurse!
“I look forward to keeping the students healthy and safe and it is my honor to care for them.” Sadie Holm (RN)
