Sauna up For Bids
The West Iron County Public Schools Geometry in Construction Class and the Building Trades program are putting out for bids a sauna that the students built. The 13’ x 8’ sauna building has an attached 3’ covered porch for a combined length of 16’. The sauna can be seen in the south side of the high school parking lot by the Bob Loo Building. There are also pictures on the school web site at westiron.org
The exterior is rough sawn cedar lap siding with timber post framed porch, cedar fascia and soffit with a Laminate shingle vented roof.
The interior wall finish is 4" cedar end-match paneling with cedar benches in both the changing room and sauna room. The building is wired with lighting and outlets as well as provisions for the installation of an electric sauna stove if you so choose. The floor finish is luxury vinyl flooring that looks great with the natural light coming in from the front door and two windows.
The bids for this sauna will be accepted until March 26th at noon with a minimum bid of $8,500. All bids need to be sealed and can be dropped off at the administration building or mailed to:
